Day 14: 30 Days Of Blogging Honesty And One Dare Or The One That Got Away

First of all, today is My Man’s birthday so this is where I go: Happy Birthday Babe πŸ˜€ Many thanks for being born and for babysitting me for the past decade (almost); and because I can’t help it… ILYVM! 😳 You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, apart from whipped cream, deep friend chicken, and mangoes. πŸ˜†

Alright, so back to the regular programming.

Day 14 β€” Because my parents never found out, I remember getting away with __________ as a teenager…

God, I never got away with anything…

But before you feel bad for me, this is so because I never tried. I’m lazy that way. I don’t know why I’m like this but I just don’t do much, you know? πŸ˜† I’ve been a pretty decent daughter, albeit a very boring one.

Oh, I know! My parents did not know the Christmas party thing I mentioned in yesterday’s post! Wow, realizing this just made me so happy. So I did got away with something, yey me!

Sometimes I wonder when will I loose it. I noticed people do reach a phase when they do crazy things always just because. Most of the time this happens during the teenage years but it did not happen for me. Sometimes I tease My Man about it and warn him that he should watch out because hell might break loose any moment soon!Β But then again I remember how much effort that might take and think again. πŸ˜†

  2. Wow, hands downs for being such a good girl! Also, belated happy birthday to your Man, who still makes you swoon in love :))

PS.- I envy you for enjoying mangoes. I’m allergic to anything with mangoes *sob* :/

    • i’m like a 12 year old really πŸ™„ many thanks for the greeting, he can be really a sweetheart. allergic to mangoes? damn that is a horrible life you have miss. πŸ˜†

  3. Happy birthday to your man. I trust that you have a good celebration together. You love mangoes? So do I! Yay!

    • mangoes make me drool. they are awesome. many thanks for the greetings. yes, we did! that photo is hilarious. i can almost hear the cats say the words in this funny, cartoony voice. πŸ˜†

  4. Oh man, that’s the thing you remember the most when you’re my age. It’s not the mistakes or misadventures in your youth, it’s the things you didn’t even try to do. I miss being a bad-ass teenager. I wish I had a little rebellious bone in my body so I could have done a little “adventure”.

I remember when we were in college, at the dorm, Sharon Cuneta had a concert at the Araneta Coliseum. Granted that I never was and still am a fan of Sharon, I along with my 2 bffs were the only ones left in the dorm. Every one went to see the show, one of them almost got run over by a jeep in Cubao.

The three of us sat in the room chatting. Then we realized our parent’s talks have sank deep within us. My friend R who is the Superego (ID and EGO that’s me and my other friend N) of the group mentioned how manang we got despite being only 18 years old at that time.

    • oh man that is so true. but i did not try to do so much. sometimes i do wonder if i am missing out or simply passing by. with that concert, if i was there, there would be four of us!
