ABCJKSWY: How Does The Alphabet Go Again? Part 2

funny cat black

Right, so let me pick up on my ABC award post. Thanks again, Elaine. Your answers to my Liebster blog questions blew me away. 🙂 Very well done, lady!

…Now where the hell am I on the alphabet again?

ABC award

K is for KAT… Wait, that can’t be right, can it? K is for KITKAT! There you go. K is for KITKAT – Each time anyone in the family asks me to do writing favors for them, they bribe me with KitKat so yes, in my world, KitKat is a currency. Deal with it.

L is for LOST – ‘Let’s Get Lost‘, the NatGeo tag line speaks to my heart. Briefly, getting lost is underrated. It’s the same as that experience when you are looking for something, you can’t find it but when you’re not looking, it’s everywhere. You find things when you are lost and you would’ve never stumbled upon them if you didn’t get lost in the first place, get it?

M is for MUSIC – When I started making my WILTT posts, inspired by Elaine, I started falling in love with music. Before, it’s more of a lukewarm love affair with lyrics but now it’s developing to be a really nice and steady relationship despite of me being tone deaf! 😆

N is for NOBODY OWENS – Have you read the Graveyard Book? I fell in love with the characters there. I can go on and on about it but just go check it out and I’ll shut up here.

O is for OXYGEN – Channeling my inner Dr. House (my hero!), don’t get me started on love – oxygen is more important.

P is for PAPER – The book lover that I am, I have a bias against ebooks. I know they’re convenient and I have a few .epubs but still, there is nothing compared to the kick I get touching the spine of books, smelling the pages, wrinkling pages, writing on them, and sleeping next to them. Holding books is just a totally different experience than hurting your eyes from the glare of your ereader. It’s nothing personal though. As long as you’re reading then I’m happy for you. 🙂

Q is for QUIET – I am dependent on quiet, silence and solitude. I’m not proud of it; it doesn’t make me stronger or any better than others but I need it. Noise and crowds make me go crazy. I guess it all boils down to me being a more intimate kind of person… or a more autistic kind of person, your choice. But I’ve long accepted the fact I’m not for mass consumption.

R is for RETARD – Believe me, I’m a situational moron. Maybe it has something to do with whoever is in my company but there are times when I tend to go full retard, and if you have seen me go full retard and you still love me, thank you. 😆

S is for SPAGHETTI – My sister cooks phenomenal spaghetti. There are days when I live on spaghetti alone. But who’s complaining?

T is for TIME – To me, time is a relative thing and it will forever be a mystery to me. I’ll be eternally amazed at how seven days and seven years can have a big impact on people, and I guess on relationships. Was it Jane Austen who said sometimes seven days is enough for some while seven years may never suffice in others? I agree, bizarre, but I do.

Six letters to go plus nominees! Stay tuned. 😀
