Hello everybody! Wow, it has been awhile since I posted a recipe here. But I’m still baking, though albeit lazier in taking photos and writing about the stuff that I make. Anyway, today I’ve done good because here I’m sharing my chocolate glazed cookie dough brownies.
When I tell you everybody will love you after they eat this, you bet your sweet ass I’m not joking. These little squares of heaven are so decadent, so indulgent you’ll dream of it for days to come. This is a fantastic thing to make around Christmastime too, either to share with family and friends, or maybe give as gifts to people that matter you.
The good thing is they are not difficult to make. The brownie part is all that you need to make and the rest is just mixing and chilling on the fridge. It’s a really cool recipe and people will think you have slaved over these chocolate glazed cookie dough brownies when they are too easy to make!
I promise you, these chocolate glazed cookie dough brownies are so luxurious you will make them over and over and over so don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s layer after layer of the condensed form of everything good in the world. I find it really sexy! So here you go!
Chocolate Glazed Cookie Dough Brownies
For brownies:
1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 1/2 oz chopped semisweet choc
1/3 c butter
2/3 c light brown sugar
2 large eggs slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
For cookie dough:
1/2 c butter
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c light brown sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c choc chips
For chocolate glaze:
3 1/2 oz dark or semisweet chocolate
2 Tbsp butter
1. Make the brownie: Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler over very low heat. Stir it every once in awhile. Watch it so you don’t burn it! Take it off the heat and add the sugar, eggs, and vanila, then fold in the flour until just combined. Bake it for 18-20 mins.
2. Make the cookie dough: In a bowl, beat butter and sugars then add the milk and vanilla. Stir in the flour and chocolate chips. Spread the mixture on top of the cooled brownies and refrigerate to set.
3. Make the glaze: Melt the chocolate and butter on a double boiler over very low heat then spread it on top of the cookie dough and brownie base. Chill for 30 mins then eat it and be happy for four straight days!
