After lunch, I still had a little bit of time to kill before I get back to work so I grabbed Mother Goose’s fruit basket which contains about a hundred or so lanzones this time.
I think lanzones are funny fruits because, well… they are round. More importantly, they are interesting and teach you a very important life lesson.
The bigger the fruit, the bigger the seed. Get it?
And yes, there is a striking lack of lanzones on the photo.

i remember the legend of the lanzones as a child. the fruit used to be poisonous according to the story, hence the name really came from the word “lason.”
oh wow i did not know that. watermelon seeds are still annoying. the bigger the watermelon, the more the seeds!
