Turns out, bat meat has the same consistency as beef. There is no funny smell either, as we normally think bats are stinky. The meat is perfectly okay (even though it looks an awful lot like poo in my dreadful Blackberry photo) and if you don’t know it is bat on your plate, I don’t think you’d be able to tell your food is distinctly related to Batman. 😆

it’s like exotic food. first time to try it. i just had a little taste. i’m not brave enough to eat a whole chunk, particularly when i can see the bat head. 😆
You are a brave soul but I think I might be able to eat that. I don’t want snails though.
it’s nice to try new things every once in awhile. a particular kind of snail is eaten here. i think it is the one found on rivers or near it, i can’t be sure. my man eats it. he says it tastes nice. i haven’t tried it though. maybe next time i will.
